There is always something fun and exciting to do on Hilton Head Island, Bluffton and the surrounding Lowcountry. From watching Gregg Russell year after year, to a Farmers market or Broadway caliber theater here is a Hilton Head Calendar of Events.

Memorial Day Weekend 5/25 – 26 Hilton Head Art Festival 10AM – 5PM Features fine art, crafts, food and music.
June – August HarbourFest Starting May 25 & 26 then Mon – Friday through August 30th. Join Shannon Tanner for his 31st year with 2 – one hours at 6:30 and 8PM, Cappy the Clown and much more. Including Fireworks on Tuesdays

Coastal Discovery Museum
November – Mid March visit the Camellia Garden to see131 varieties of the beautiful flowers under moss draped oaks. While there check out all the different things the museu – as to offer.
March 8 – 10 Long Cove Club Darius Rucker Intercollegiate Join the host’s – University of South Carolina Woman’s Golf Team and watch some great golf from some of the best teams in the nation. Tee times start at 8:30 and Spectators are welcome.
March 17 Hilton Head Island St. Patrick’s Day Parade Come join local and tourists alike for one of the best perennial events on the island along Pope Avenue. Rain or shine starts at 3PM
March 30 – World’s Largest Yard Sale Hosted by the Island Packet Wander the different tables from your neighbors to retailers. At Hilton Head Island High Scholl from 9AM – 1PM
HILTON HEAD ISLAND & LOWCOUNTRY SPECIAL EVENTS
Coastal Discovery Museum – What a fantastic way to learn about the beautiful nature of Hilton Head Island. Old and young can take part in tours, talks and exhibits. Honey Horn Plantation near entrance to Cross Island Expressway.
Heritage Library – Weekly Tours available to learn about Hilton Head Island and the Lowcountry. From Historic Bike Tours, Ft. Mitchel Tours, Chapel of Ease Cemetery Tours and even Hilton Head Haunted History Tales. Check the days of tours priced form $10 – $25 good for adults and children alike.
March 11 – 17 Hilton Head Wine and Food Festival For the 34th year in the row enjoy events from dinners, sip and strolls all ending with the Public Tasting Saturday 3/16.
March 22 – 23 Hilton Head Wingfest 24 Years means they aren’t just winging it! Friday night is the Wingfest Pary – Wings & Beer with Food Beer and Music 5:30-8:30PM P(Prices TBD) While Saturday is Competition Day 11 – 5PM with $7 Admission to the event (kids 10 and under Free) then tickets are sold for the food, drink and activities $1 = 1 Ticket (1 wing = 1 Ticket Beer/Wine = 4-7 Tickets) at Shelter Cove Community Park.
April 15 – 21 RBC Heritage of Golf Presented by Boeing Get Your Plaid On at (in our opinion) the Best PGA Tour Event!!! From Pro-Ams, Practice Rounds and then the biggest social event on Hilton Head that also has awesome Golf on Thursday – Sunday. Happy Heritage!
April 21 Easter Sunday
April 27 – 28 Art Market at Historic Honey Horn This juried fine arts and craft outdoor festival has you walking amongst some of the prettiest old oaks on the Island while enjoying all styles of art, sculpture, jewelry, oil/acrylic/watercolors and much more. Admission is $3 per person from 10AM – 5PM on Saturday and 11AM – 4PM on Sunday. More details to come.
September 21 2nd Annual Hilton Head Island Shrimp Festival – Harbour Town adjacent to Liberty Oak in Sea Pines Resort. Event features food (shrimp of course) craft beer, live music etc. More Details to come

March 16 Hilton Head Island Shamrock 5K Run 8AM Starting at NYC Pizza down Pope Avenue, North Forest Beach Drive, Lagoon finishing Coligny Plaza. Cost $30-$35
March 29 The Hilton Head Beer Mile to benefit the Parkinson’s Research. This fun run is drink a 12oz beer then run 1/4 mile and repeat 4 times. $30 Single / $45 Team Tiki Hut 5:30 start.
Weekly April – August Palmetto Dunes Turtle Trot 5K is a weekly family friendly 5K starting at the Dunes House – beach course for low tide weeks and road race other times. Packet Pickup 7-7:45AM 4/3, 4/10, 4/17, 4/24, 6/12, 6/19, 6/26, 7/3, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24, 7/31, 8/7, 8/14, 8/21, $25 but no charge for Kids for 12 & under.
