There is always something fun and exciting to do on Hilton Head IslanHarbourFest just one of the many things to do on Hilton Head Islandd, Bluffton and the surrounding Lowcountry. From watching Gregg Russell year after year, to a Farmers market or Broadway caliber theater here is a Hilton Head Calendar of Events.

FREE OUTDOOR CONCERTS/EVENTS

SHELTER COVE TOWNE CENTRE and the Shelter Cove Community Park
November 28 – December 31  Holiday Lights at Shelter Cove Towne Center with Santa Visits 11/29, 30 and 12/6, 7, 13, 14, 20, & 21
December 6  Winter Wonderland Festival Come and enjoy carnival games, kids parade and more 4-8PM (Concessions and some activities sold separately)

HILTON HEAD ISLAND & LOWCOUNTRY SPECIAL EVENTS

Coastal Discovery Museum – What a fantastic way to learn about the beautiful nature of Hilton Head Island. Old and young can take part in tours, talks and exhibits. Honey Horn Plantation near entrance to Cross Island Expressway.

Heritage Library – Weekly Tours available to learn about Hilton Head Island and the Lowcountry. From Historic Bike Tours, Ft. Mitchel Tours, Chapel of Ease Cemetery Tours and even Hilton Head Haunted History Tales. Check the days of tours priced form $10 – $25 good for adults and children alike.

October 10 – November 15   Crescendo, Celebrating Arts, Culture and History Sponsored by the Arts & Cultural Council of Hilton Head.  Opening night event will be from  5- 7PM 10/10 at the Shelter Cove Community Park with performances, exhibitions and light refreshments. The month will include readings, tours, creative activities, lectures and more. Link above for full details of events.

November 8 – 9    Hilton Head Oyster Festival  Something for Everyone especially oysters but also pulled pork and more. At Shelter Cove Park Friday 5PM – 8PM $35  Saturday 11AM – 5PM $7 then $1 = 1 Ticket go to the website for more information. Benefits The Island Rec Center

November 9   Lantern Parade  Bring a Lantern and park at Coligny Beach Park where you will be take a trolley down to the Alder Beach Access at 6PM and then the parade at 7PM will light up the night with others celebrating Hilton Head Island.  Before the event you can go to a workshop to make your own lantern. There will be an after party at the Tiki Hut.

March 9- 15   Hilton Head Wine and Food Festival – More details to come but it includes a Public Tasting on the Sea Pines Harbour  11-4PM.

March 21 – 22    Hilton Head Wingfest – more details to come for the 2020 event

April 13 -20   RBC Heritage of Golf   Get your tickets the 52nd annual PGA Tournament, the Island’s biggest party with a side of golf. More details to come.

April 25 – 26   The Art Market at Coastal Discovery Museum at Honey Horn Details to come

November 9   Hilton Head Bridge Run 10K & Road Race 5K Fun Run  that goes over the Cross Island Expressway $30 – $50 Start at Crossings Park off Palmetto Bay Road

November 15 – 17  Pedal Hilton Head Island Ride Benefits the Boys & Girls Club of Hilton Head Island Ride for a good cause from 2 Mile Family Pedal to a 62 Mile Metric Century Group Ride as well as rides in between

November 28  Turkey Trot – Run or Walk this 5K/10k Family friendly event so you can gobble to your hearts content later in the day. Start and Finish at Hudson’s with the run winding through the back of Hilton Head Plantation – more details to come

December 24   Jingle Jingle Run 28th Annual Hilton Head Hospital 5K run starts the Holiday feeling good about yourself! $32 – $45 at the Hilton Head Hospital 7am.
